From the 3rd – 7th October, Coláiste Treasa ran a fun filled, whole school anti bullying awareness week. The week kicked off with workshops facilitated by Bully4U who focused on empowering students and raising awareness of cyber bullying. These workshops catered for both students and parents/guardians.
Other highlights of the week included our ODD SHOE DAY! Students and teachers alike wore two odd shoes for the day to raise awareness that “it’s ok to be different”.
Our awareness week continued with a lunch time concert where students took to the stage and displayed a wide range of their amazing talents and personalities.
One of the most challenging features of our week was our digital detox, where students restricted their technology usage for 24hours. This was quite a challenge for our tech savvy students!
The week came to a close with a ceremonious colourful “worry balloon release” where students let go of their worries.
