Young Social Innovator

Congratulations to representative members from our YSI team – Norita Healy, Leah Murphy and Hollie Linehan who proudly represented wider team members at the Young Social Innovator Den competition held Thursday in Cork’s lifetime lab. They confidently pitched their project idea which aims to address anxiety among their peers. Their group called D.A.S.H which stands for – Depression Anxiety & Self Harm – DREAMING AND SPREADING HOPE successfully pitched to a panel of four dragon style judges for funding towards their JITTER JOURNAL project. Their journal aims to offer a creative outlet to express their anxiety and worries while also offering a bullet journal side offering a selection of creative organisational templates, mood trackers, sleep trackers, monthly goals and many more. They successfully secured €1,000 investment fund to further their project, where the journal will be rolled out with all 1st & 2nd year students in Colaiste Treasa. We are very proud of all members of the D.A.S.H team!
