Angus Beef Schools competition.

Colàiste Treasa trio qualify for Semi-finals to be in with a chance of winning Angus Calves
Congratulations to Transition Year students from Coláiste Treasa who have qualified for the semi-final of the Certified Irish Angus Beef Schools competition. Hanna O’Callaghan, Laura Doody and Lisa O’Donoghue entered the competition in November  of 2019 when they created a short video clip outlining the advantages of Certified Irish Angus Beef, as well as their ideas on how they would promote the Angus breed to farmers and retailers alike. The students then progressed to the second stage of the competition where they were interviewed in the South Court Hotel in Limerick by members of the Certified Irish Angus Producer’s group, ABP and Kepak. They have been chosen from a large volume of entries to go forward to the next stage of the competition in Croke Park on the 4th March where they will again showcase their ideas for promoting Certified Irish Angus beef to both farmers and retailers. These students are in with a chance of winning 5 Angus calves.
