Learning Support Programme

Coláiste Treasa offers a wide range of supports to students with Additional  Educational Needs.  All categories of A.E.N are catered for, including General and Specific Learning Difficulties, Physical Disabilities, Hearing and Visual Impairment, Emotional Disturbance, Autistic Spectrum Disorders and Speech and Language Disorders.  Provisions include small group withdrawal from class as well as team teaching to support the student within the classroom.

More detailed information and eligibility criteria for RACE (Reasonable Accommodations in Certified Examinations) are available on www.examinations.ie  ( The most commonly granted accommodations  include Spelling and Grammar Waivers in Languages and gaining access to a Reader).
