We are very fortunate to have a full size sports hall and fully equipped gym in Coláiste Treasa. Each class group in the school has two periods of Physical Education per week. From an extra curricular view point these facilities enable us to compete at the highest level in the many and varied sports that we compete in.
Outside of school hours, the gym and sports hall are available for private use under the the expert guidance of fitness instructor Seamus O’ Connor. Seamus can be contacted on 087 9647080 . This is dependent on health advice from the relevant authorities, regarding the Covid 19 Pandemic.
Astroturf
Coláiste Treasa is delighted to form part of the “Kanturk Community Astroturf Ltd Group” . This group was established with the sole aim of building a state of the art Astroturf pitch for the community of Kanturk and beyond. Work began in the later half of September 2021and it is hoped that work will be complete in 2023. For further information please click on the link below.
