School Transport.
All information listed below is subject to change on an annual basis. Bus routes and times are completely dependent on demand. All routes are run by Bus Eireann unless otherwise stated.
Banteer to Kanturk,
This bus leaves Nadd at 7:50 a.m. and collects students in the Banteer area.The bus arrives in Kanturk at 8:25 a.m. and all students disembark at the Vintage.
A second bus also leaves Banteer and at 8:00 a.m. and heads to Kanturk via Clonmeen, this bus arrives in Kanturk at 8:20 a.m. and the students disembark at the bottom of the hill, across from Greenane Park.
Castlemagner to Kanturk
Two buses are required for the Castlemagner area, one serves the village and one serves the surrounding area, both buses arrive in Kanturk at 8:30 a.m. and the students disembark across from Greenane Park
Dromtariffe to Kanturk
This bus leaves the Antique shop in Dromtariffe at 8:00 a.m. it also stops at Dromagh National School. Once again the students disembark at the Vintage at 8:15 a.m.
Kilbrin to Kanturk
The school bus leaves Kilbrin at 8:15 a.m. It serves Kilbrin and the surrounding area. It arrives in Kanturk at 8:30 a.m. and the students disembark at the Edel Quinn Hall.
Liscaroll to Kanturk
This bus leaves liscaroll at 7:50 a.m and serves Liscaroll and the surrounding areas. It arrives in Kanturk at 8:15 a.m. and the students disembark opposite Greenane Park.
Lismire / Freemount to Kanturk
This bus leaves Lismire at 7:50 a.m. arriving in Freemount shortly after. It arrives in Kanturk at 8:30 a.m. and the students disembark at the Vintage.
Lyre to Kanturk
This bus leaves Lyre at 8:00 am and serves Lyre and the surrounding area, it arrives in Kanturk at 8:25 a.m. and the students disembark at the vintage.
Newmarket to Kanturk
The Newmarket to Kanturk bus has been set up since September 2023 it travels the following route; Barleyhill Bridge, MountKeeffe Cross, Charleville Line, Church Street, Garraunawarrig Lower, Allens Bridge, Ballydrohane Bridge and into Kanturk. the cost of the bus is €75 for one student and is capped at 125 for two or more students.
Rathcoole to Kanturk
Students from the Rathcoole area , take the Banteer Bus or the Dromtariffe Bus
